Consulting and advisory work on software quality
I step in where quality starts to cost money: shaping the test process, choosing a strategy, growing the team and showing where AI genuinely shortens the work. Most often I work in short, well-defined formats, but on larger projects I also take on longer, regular engagements.

A review of how you test today: coverage, documentation, defect flow, the place of QA in the team. You get a report with actions ranked by their impact on risk.

Matching test levels and types to the product, its risk profile and the budget. Entry and exit criteria, metrics worth tracking, and a clear decision on what we deliberately will not test.

Where language models genuinely save time - test cases, log analysis, documentation - and where they create risk instead. Usage rules, tool selection, a quick pilot.

Regular sessions with testers and leads: test design techniques, reviews of real artefacts, and a growth path from junior to independent specialist.

Training tailored to your team's process and stack - from testing fundamentals to preparation for the ISTQB and MITC exams.

Help with defining the role, designing a technical assignment and assessing candidates - including technical support during the interviews themselves.
Ways to work together: a single consultation, a prepaid pool of hours, an audit closed with a written report, ongoing support of a few hours a month, or a longer engagement on a project. Remote, and on-site in Kraków and the surrounding area.

Michał Putowski
I have spent over twenty years working on software quality - in large and smaller organisations, as a tester, a test manager and a consultant. I am at my best where the process needs sorting out: deciding what we test and why, what it costs, and how to tell that quality is actually improving.
Alongside that, I teach. I run the JakZostacTesterem.pl blog, a YouTube channel, two online courses including the accredited MITC course, and publish free material for people entering the profession. NETLEA is a one-person business, so you work directly with me, with no intermediaries and no sales overhead.
